Blair Greig
For Blair Greig his paintings are all about light and mood. “What I feel is as important as what I see and my paintings are more than a recreation of a particular view. I try to imbue them with the emotions I feel outdoors” He has exhibited in London, the United States of America and New Zealand. “I suppose I would be considered a realist painter but what I am trying to capture is the effects of light and mood. I prefer to paint the South Island as I feel I have an affinity with the place.”
